What counts as custom fabrication?
Broadly, anything that has to be measured, cut, welded, mounted, modified, or built around one specific project rather than pulled off a shelf. At Hill Designs that covers brackets and mounts, patch panels and sheet metal, suspension and clearance work, and one-off pieces that do not exist as a part. If you are not sure whether your job qualifies, send it anyway. Custom work is handled one job at a time, not by menu item.
Can Hill Designs build one-off parts?
Yes. One-off parts are part of what Hill Designs builds. Custom brackets, tabs, mounts, supports, and build-specific fixes get made when no catalog part exists, or when the universal option does not fit the application well enough to trust. The starting point is understanding what the part has to do and what it has to fit between. Photos of the location plus a description of the job are usually enough.
