Common Questions
Can rust repair be quoted from photos?
Photos can usually start the conversation and get you an approach, but rust is the one job where a photo quote is a starting point rather than a final number. Rust often spreads farther than it looks from the surface, and the full extent is not clear until the area is opened up. Max will tell you what the photos suggest and where the number could move once the metal is visible.
Do you replace full floor pans or patch smaller areas?
Both, depending on the vehicle and how far the damage has gone. A small isolated spot may only need a patch, while a floor that has rusted through in several places may be better addressed as a section repair or a full replacement. Hill Designs will look at photos of the area and talk through whether a patch, a section repair, or a larger replacement makes the most sense for your build.
